We are delighted to share some very special news: Inferno Box has been named Food & Drink StartUp of the Year at the South East StartUp Awards 2026.
The award was presented during the South East StartUp Awards ceremony at Curzon Oxford, bringing together new and growing businesses from across the region. Standing on that stage and receiving the award was a proud moment for our family, our team and everyone who has supported Inferno Box from the beginning.
From a simple idea to an award-winning restaurant
Inferno Box started with a simple idea: serve generous, flavour-packed food and give customers the freedom to create a meal that suits them. Our Build Your Box menu allows customers to choose their favourite sides and mains, while our wider menu brings together Asian-inspired dishes and Romanian specials.
Since opening in Gravesend, we have worked hard to build more than just a place to eat. We wanted Inferno Box to feel welcoming whether you are sitting down inside the restaurant, collecting dinner for the family or ordering online.
Like any new business, the journey has involved long days, difficult decisions and plenty of learning. That is why this award means so much to us. It recognises not only the food we serve, but also the work that goes on behind the scenes every day.
